Yesterday I was granted membership of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA)! I used to be a member and when I went traveling I didnt not renew, that that I am back I reapplied for membership, I am glad they have accepted me back as a member!

Ive just did a mini redesign of my website, I was unhappy with the background colour in my last design as it was appearing a different colour on everyones computer.

Ive been down in Albany the past two weeks working on a landscape photography project. Even though im not engaged, Ive decided that I want to have my wedding at William Bay near Denmark, its the most beautiful beach in the entire world! After traveling overseas for the past year I have came to appreciate how beautiful the Great Southern coastline of Australia is so so beautiful.

new camera

Today I bought myself a present, the Canon 30D. The above photo is one of the first photographs I took on it, its of my beautiful little niece who is the cutest little thing. I was sitting outside photographing her brother, when she wanted in on the action and tried coming through the doggie door.

I have also ordered the 24-70mm 2.8L lens which takes the most beautiful photographs. I photographing a wedding next weekend which I am so excited I will have this lens in time for, I cant wait to use it!

Jaisalmer was my favourite place to visit in India. Its a small city in the very west of Rajasthan near the Pakistan border. I took the most photographs there then I did than anywhere else during my travels.

New Website

Well I finally have my new website up and running, I hope everyone is enjoying the new design =) Please let me know if you have seen any errors!

I have been busy scanning my medium format films since picking them up from the lab earlier this week. The ones I have been posting on here are my favorites so far. I am planning to put together in exhibition later in the year of these photographs. Let me know which ones you like best.

Tomorrow I am buying myself a new Canon 30D digital camera, I am so excited I wont be able to sleep tonight!

Well I am finally back in Australia after 8 months traveling around the world. My favorites would have been China and Thailand. Its so surreal to be home again. This morning I picked up 30 rolls of medium format film that have been developed from my trip, tomorrow will be spent scanning them in, expect to see many many photos soon!!
